Completed the Wizard of Oz today for Granddaughter 9th Birthday. Fun for all, challenging enough and achievable. Friendly staff, lots of fun. This is such a idea 💡 never heard of these before! Second date possibly, hen/stag do's as part of a planned activity, parties, (alcohol and food not served and wouldn't think you can bring your own, check the terms & conditions), families wanting something interesting to do, a rainy day activity or even businesses for their as a thank you/Christmas party activity. Lots of parking. I'm not sure suitable for kiddies as we (4 of us) opted for an adult room. Vending machine with drinks/crisps, etc, there on ground flour with and toilet facilities. They are very immersive, very well out, with a theme and filled with clever puzzles that will make you use all of your senses. We did Step Into Wonderland and the Book of Magic and they were both fantastic. It really felt like we were doing magic tricks in the Book of Magic! The team there is brilliant and very friendly. I would their to anyone. We will be back to do the others! I loved the room, the I picked was 'Runaway Train' and I would highly this to other people. The actual concept of it all was in itself, very exciting. In my opinion, people who think outside the box would find this a little easier than others, as you have to consider every possible option available, and therefore think outside the box. The game was quite complex and whatever clue you will pick up in one part of it, you might need to come back to it (physically) to help yourself crack another code later on in the game. Lastly, it's a place to go out to if you are looking for somewhere exciting to go out to with friends or family. Came here on the 28th December as part of a surprise evening out. It was a well-designed game with lots of clues to unearth within an hour. It was very tight but we managed it with a few seconds to spare! We love and have done at varying companies across the UK (and abroad!). Of all the I've done my favourites have always been at XscapeNow - the theming of the are amazing, I've done several of them now. They're challenging without being impossible and they're always super fun. The are also always so genuinely kind and lovely, and I find the hints we've had to receive throughout the games have always been clear without completely giving away what you're meant to do. The way that G&M make the slow to start then speed up as you go with opening 10 or more locks in the last 5 minutes really feels like you’re against the clock. There has never been a disappointing here. It was super and funny, we really enjoyed it. My husband & I have done over 80 now & these are some of the best we've found. My husband proposed to me here in "Step into Wonderland" by adding a final puzzle with the ring in. These guys never fail to disappoint. The theming is incredible, the are immersive, the artwork is wonderful, the puzzles are logical & well out. The owners put their hearts & minds into their business & it really shows in the quality of their rooms. We have loved every that we've played here (Wonderland, Book of Magic, Oz, Runaway Train, Sweeny Todd, Battleships). If you're a total beginner, youll love them! If you're used to rooms, they're challenging enough too. Highly recommended. We will be back for the other rooms! My family took me for treat to the Run away train room. We did it with 2 minutes to spare it was fun we all enjoyed it. We will definitely do another one. We’re seasoned enthusiasts and have now done all Xscape Now’s all of which are well worth undertaking and I heartily recommend. We did Step Into Wonderland today. It’s an amazing with unusual and satisfying puzzles. Everything links very well together but nothing is too obvious - they make you think but it’s all there if you look. Highly recommended and IMO it’s TERPECA nomination worthy 👍 Did the runaway train at XscapeNow. One of the best we’ve done and we’ve done 30+ around the world. Clues made sense and led onto the next part neatly. Can’t fault it. I was taken by my sons ( they had both been previously) and we solved “the traitor” We had a , it was extremely well prepared and good fun for all! As first timers we struggled a few times but were helped with a few clues. The story was well out & presented in a compelling way. We all enjoyed it & will definitely come back to do another. We went as a family for the first yesterday and was a bit apprehensive at first but then everything was explained to us, the whole experience was absolutely fantastic. No complaints at all. Superb. Completed 2 here now and we plan on going back again. Puzzles are hard enough to get you thinking but easy enough to solve, cheaper than surrounding areas and well worth the travel and money!
