Lovely location. Shame its anti van and anti camper. I would love to come and spend the day. But unfortunately there is nowhere to longer than two hours. The main car has a hight barrier. And road parking is a maximum of two hours. Shame as I don't think I will visit again for this very reason Nice walk along the river in warm sunshine. Bridgenorth is such a nice place. A lovely with a huge carpark. We left our car there and then drove to Ironbridge so we could paddle back. Ice cream van was there when we arrived #result Nice big green area. Next to the river. benches to sit and have a picnic. Play ground for children. Ice-cream van on the day we visited. Porto-loos available. Not great amount of facilities but great on a sunny day and gets busy quickly in height of summer. A nice by the river, good for dogs and kids. Picnic benches all over, but they really need to build some loo's!! Nasty portaloo's locked up! This car is OK, plenty of spaces for parking in Lower Town. No free parking for the disabled although they tack on an extra hour to your paid time. We were there in October and the Portaloos that are there in the summer were gone. Do folk not use toilets in Autumn? Not sure where the nearest public toilets would be except the ones at the car / library in Upper Town. Loved it. Saw my first ever black Swan. Not too bad for on the outskirts of Wolverhampton haha. Lovely park, very well maintained. Lots of space and gorgeous walks along the river. Only thing that lets it down is the toilets - the portaloos are not clean, have no water to flush or toilet roll. Such a shame, but it's been like this for years.
