Great little pub, and excellent Guinness for under EUR 5. Handy to have the shop connected to the pub too. Love this pub, and the bartenders are awesome. Good people and nice service. And one place I got 2 good irish friends over pint of Guinness... It's pubs like Coffey's that encapsulate the Irish public house culture. It's a wonderful place to visit. A great selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks that will be served up by friendly and chatty staff. The locals will make you feel like long lost friends as you enjoy the unique atmosphere. Well worth a visit 👍 I stopped in to buy a jar of coffee, walked out the wrong door and ended up with a wonderful cold pint of Smithwicks. A more authentic country pub you won't find and a welcoming and friendly staff too. No coach loads of tourists here, just the gentle banter of locals passing their time with the topic of the day. A good groceries shop next door and the pizza is eat in or take away. Toilets were spotless too. Highly recommend. Coffeys was one of our most memorable experiences. It had a authentic atmosphere, and Ian was an amazing host. We enjoyed the most beautifully presented (and delicious) Guinness and felt incredibly lucky to have such a unique experience during our houseboating trip. We highly recommend that all travelers visit this pub - it truly deserves more recognition, and you won’t regret it!
