Today's barista lady it is such an arrogant person (4/05/25) ! I loved this place for the until now... If someone isn't in her best form then just don't go to work!!! Really good and pastries. I drop in every Saturday for a even though it's 15 minutes away. There is indoor and outdoor seating (not loads but enough) and there are also gourmet food items and books/gifts at the rear of the shop. They also do gourmet sandwiches. Delicious toasties, hot chocolate and to take away. Speedy and friendly service at a busy time. Got two sandwiches and an iced for 12 euro so the prices were very reasonable and the food was fine. The atmosphere inside wasn't very nice though, it was very dark, the bathroom looked very dirty (window was grimy, toilet seat was really rusted, cobwebs in the corner) and the whole place felt a bit like someome was trying too hard to be trendy without actually caring. I've been here twice now but I don't think I'll come again because it's easier and nicer to just go to the petrol station. Thanks. I love Wilder & Gold! Everything is done well and the are super-nice. My only criticism would be lack of seating. I don't buy to go, so I like to be able to sit inside and enjoy a treat. I think the floor space could be put to better use. Other than this, I 100% recommend this local gem! Good for cyclist's stop, lock your bike up outside. Friendly staff, good coffee, nice food and a nice outdoor seating area of you want to keep an eye on your pride and joy😁👍 Visited on recommendation from at Centre Parcs. The best pot of tea and delicious HUGE slice of carrot cake, homemade brown bread toasted with butter and jam. They also stock some really nice foods and gifts. Well worth visiting Service is shocking. I got a takeaway this morning and was waiting 15 minutes. There were three and all they did was talk to eachother. I could hear one blonde girl telling the others she was very hungover. To be honest, she looked extremely hungover. She was making coffees for people who ordered after me. She then did my order wrong. She didn’t apologise. When she eventually made my coffee, she just slammed it down on the counter and was incredible rude. I actually think she was still drunk. She was spilling milk everywhere. Will not return because of the bad service. It’s a shame because the is lovely! We went in there today because it looked like a qaint little place and there isn't enough shops with filling stations taking over. Google maps says they shut at 4pm and we went in at 2.15. You know lunch time, and were told they are not serving food anymore. There was a looking grilled cheese sitting on the side ready to be served but we were not going to be served. They might have made us something to go but that wasn't what we wanted. Sorry this isn't better a better review. Been here plenty of times, and it is my GO TO. The are always lovely, chatty and on the ball whenever I walk in even when it’s busy. The blonde girl is an excellent barista, coffees are always amazing and I never leave unhappy. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone 🤩🤩 Delightful little shop, limited seating but were friendly and accommodating with some additional seating for us. Delicious toasties and wraps. Superb coffee! My local shop , highly recommended it to anyone who lives nearby or just passing through. The and pastries are always top notch and there’s always a good vibe around the cafe. The are always and love having a chat with them when they have a chance especially the blonde girl behind the counter she’s always and provides excellent customer service!
