Its well worth a visit, enjoy A pretty little spot by the roadside to visit. It's on the road that leads from Carrick-on-Shannon to Elphin. It is much more impressive after heavy rain when the falls swell and are quite powerful but ordinarily they are low falls with a gentle cascade. It's a beautiful little pullover spot and have a picnic or just peace and quiet. Carpark, picnic table, and a bin. Nice small place for picknic There wasn't much water passing over the falls when I visited. Might look better after a flood otherwise I wouldn't bother driving to see it. Nice place close to the road only water levels are very low and fall is not so effective. Some cascade waterfalls way was blocked with huge trees fall in it. Nice little spot, picnic benches and the little waterfall were lovely 🙂 Lovely little hidden beauty spot located between Carrick on Shannon and Elphin. Picturesque falls on either side of an ancient stone bridge, small parking and picnic area with a space for disabled drivers. Well worth a visit at any time of the year. Small but really good place to have a snack or stop for a site.
