The racecourse is very modern and traditional at the same time. Staff where friendly and plenty of field parking. Great afternoon out had by all and a few winners. A great evening's entertainment which I highly recommend. We went to "ladies day" of their July meeting. It was busy but we could still move between the parade ring, the bookmakers and the finishing line with ease. The alcohol prices were reasonable and the service was surprisingly quick considering the crowds. The course is quite close to the town and there is ample parking. Getting out of the course was smooth, thanks to the Garda. Had a lovely day out on monday at the races. My first time there. Everything was close at hand, bar, restaurant, and parking. I had a lovely meal and was not overpriced. Downside, I made no money !!!! If there was transport back into town it would be ideal. Nice friendly atmosphere and not expensive. A nice day/evening out Great Facilities and Great Value Extremely basic facilities compared to any other race course that I have attended this year. For example no seating whatsoever if you buy coffee or a sandwich. A few picnic benches wudnt go a stray Lovely racecourse run by lovely staff. The staff couldn't do anything more to make our visit great. A wonderful concert that both my present wife and I really enjoyed especially the wonderful backing band. I for one will certainly be back next year.!! Good race, plenty fun. Great concert but this year thought security personnel that I met were over zealous.
