Vilnius, Lithuania Hiking area

Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Proper outdoor area with fire place. Remember to bring your own woods. It's a very short – some 700 meters – hike near the confluence of two rivers – Saidė and Neris. Nevertheless, it is one of a kind in beauty. During the last ice age, Saidė was a mighty river. Therefore, it is located in a small, but canyon, overgrown with trees. Next to it, there is a big fort hill, which is well worth a climb for some panoramic shots of the surrounding forests. Go and experience on this short walk. Awesome and stunningly place in the near Vilnius. Its a really short walk, but views are awesome. Especially when its green everywhere. Would recommend. A very peaceful landmark of a typical Lithuanian forest landscape, spiced with a castle hill from medieval ages. Here you will find some little waterffals of a stream which connects to the river Neris just few steps away. A lovely place to take a around, not so far from the Centre, and it's easy to get to with a car. The trail itself isn't long, around a kilometer, and it's pretty fun to on the little bridges. There's also a stairway to the highest point in the area, where you can see a panoramic view of the greenery around. It's pretty soothing to be there and listen to the sounds of the water running, and there's some benches to sit by and enjoy the nature. There's also a picnic area near the parking, where you can grill and enjoy your time with friends or family. A must visit if you want to have some calm time and don't want to go that far away from the city. Very nice place for a ;) and cozy :) have a fireplace for bbq Nice path in the forest but a little bit short. Also you can climb to Stirnių mound. One of more interesting and pretty place around Vilnius, 1km route with realy nice river. Really beautiful stream with a lot of big rocks surrounded by a forest and sounds of nature. Relatively close to the city so its an easy place to seek an exile from Civilization. Recommend extending your hike trail to go by the river south towards Vosyliukai and coming back through the village roads, for full awesome experience, and fun to in balance on the fallen trees Labai patiko apsilankyti pavasarį, upelis labai gražiai čiurlena, daug ąžuolų, akmenų ir piliakalnis. Vaikams irgi labai patiko laipioti per medžius kurie buvo kaip tilteliai per upelį. Yra pavesinė pilnikui very place to around, relaxing and refreshing nature; it’s a must to visit and I will come back in summer Puikus takas su piliakalniu, santaka, poulsiavietė ir gyva gamta nuėjus kiek nuo pagrindinio tako - prieš Saidės srovę ! bebrų užtvanka, samanos ir daug krituolių sukuria gyvos gamtos, mažai liestos žmogaus įspūdį. The trail is quite short, but still a and quiet place to and enjoy nature. The river is very gourgeos, full of rocks and fallen logs, surrounded by mixed forest and a mound. Trail is not long, so perfect to go with kids. Very beautiful, even though a bit slippery this time of year - totally worth a visit! Amazing place, and not difficult to get around with kids.
