The area has been maintained by Frei municipality in collaboration with Kvalvik Forts Friends, the Friends Association is open to all interested. There is also a close collaboration with the Nordmøre Museum . At Kvalvik there is, among other things, a Biber dwarf submarine , a 45 mm armor cannon and a 25 mm Hotchkiss air defense cannon on display.
