In wintertime this was a fairly snowy located approximately 45mins from Vilnius very close to the Belarusian border. The was €6 for adults to visit, and the best attractions were in the multi-leveled museum. In the warmer seasons, you can go to the top. Nice small with great history in itself. Nice small within the tower, possibility to climb on top of the to enjoy surrounding views. The was very nice. There is also a in the and the ticket costs 6€ for adult. We even got an english guidebook. You can park outside for free. Once an important with their own rich picturesque history.. it was demolished and now it is being rebuilt. There is no row of bastions, high walls, deep moat or raised bridges.. just fantastic view from the top of main tower. Quiet and calm place. Nicely preserved with situated in the corner tower, which has 5 floors and open top for nice view. Entrance fee is 6 EUR per person, if charge for children up to 7 years. Has a big yard inside and some former prisoners keeping mechanisms. Nearby wooden church and hills of Juozapinė and Aukštoja. Did not expected much, it has a nice 5 store with a top roof overlook area. It's definitely missing some activities for children. Cool, old castle. I feel a little bad that we got to walk in and look around without paying. But we only stayed 5 minutes or so. Worth a quick stop. Hi everyone. Last Sunday of mnth, entry for most museums. 6€ for adults, for kids to 7 and etc. U can take photos for free, and some profi for extra charge. Well, a lot parking space, if it was for cash would love to see more, but for free😀, very nice. Ok, seriously, if it is summer, go, don't know nothing about winter. Go with kids, they will love it and btw u got the whole room of ex-president Brazauskas trofees. Labai įdomi pilies istorija, bokšte pilna įvarių antikvarinių daiktų, gražu pažiūrėti. Viskas sutvarkyta. Gražus vidinis kiemas, kuriame galima dar daug ka puosėlėti. Labai gražus I really Dont Understand the 5* reviews. Is Just a Part of an Outer wall and a small building inside with an exhibition. Staff very rude aswell and dont speak English well. Not worth the drive is renovated. You can get on top of main tower. There is also inside main which is small, but pleasant. I recommend it as a weekend trip from Vilnius (~40 min drive) with kids. Nice and big castle, most of the things you can touch, suggest to take a guide, who will tell lots of interesting things and history. Price of visit is very affordable Gera ekskursija У этого места есть потенциал, чтобы и посетить в рамках культурно-исторической программы, и продвигать совместные местные проекты. Плюс очень приветливый персонал. It was quite a surprise! It is well visible from the road. Enormous walls, slightly falling down, very good exhibition in the main tower. It must be the best in Lithuania — way more authentic and exciting than Trakai or Vilnius, which look like stage sets; better than Kaunas too, purely because of its spectacular austere setting, which cannot have changed much since the times of crusaders. Labai rekomenduoju šią vietą, būtų smagu jeigu ją atrastų daugiau žmonių. Muziejus labai gražus, atrodo labai naujoviškai, viduje dirba labai maloni moteris. Įėjimas suaugusiam 6eurai - verta kiekvieno euro. Интересно ⭐️ The is nice, there is museum. Not far is Highest point of Lithuania and viewing tower. The ticket prices are way too high for what can offer, please reconsider prices, they are ridiculous.
