I'd love to give this place a better score... have been coming here for 15 years, off and on, and I really like the idea of the local countryside from Lithuania, but how it's run seems to require a bit of tuning! For a start there was only one of the Kamainskas on tap out of 3, then only one barstaff which means a queue at the bar (and it wasn't even busy). He then proceeded to answer his mobile rather than serve beers, before ignoring it the third time! (maybe it was an important call, but to me customers waiting are more important). Beers were good, I like the place as a bar, but they need to sort out the staffing and on tap IMO to make it as as it could be; I'm sure it was better five years ago, before COVID. We visited this rather interesting place to celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of my husband's favorite rock bands✌️🎸🎤. Judging by the posters in the foyer, concerts run for an hour there. There's a coat check. If you prefer to hang out in the fan zone and relax, enjoy a beer, eat food, and just chat, it's best to reserve a table. We were lucky – we found a table for two near the entrance. They have a selection of dark and light beers. I prefer dark, and my husband agreed with me 🍻. My was less strong, with a berry flavor. My husband's was stronger and richer. The sound, especially near the stage, was very powerful. Where we sat next to each other, it was possible to talk. Thanks to other guests, we looked at the menu in reviews 🙏. We didn't want to wait and ordered toasted bread with melted cheese. If you're not hungry and just want a snack with your beer, this is a very option. We also liked the type of dish, if you haven't decided yet. It's a large plate where they put all the snacks they have to go with your beer. You could try it, basically. A minor drawback is the restrooms. After about three hours, they were dirty🤷. For this type of place, the crowd is quite cultured. The food is delicious, the selection is sufficient, but the service is very chaotic and therefore slow. Queuing at the bar to order drinks or food spoils the pub atmosphere. The environment is also begging for an update. It's time for the owners to look at themselves from the outside and assess what it's time to change. My favorite bar in Vilnius. Great, extensive collection of draft beers, including some of the city's best (only?) farmhouse/country ales. All are delicious and the prices are very reasonable. 100% recommended. Such a basement with attentive staff and tasty food. If in the area and hungry, try it out. Cheap. It's not exactly my style, but overall a place. I ate pea soup with drill, was very good. is also. But be prepared for 30 minutes in line every time you want a beer. Not because the venue is anywhere near full, but because they work in slow gear. Very and cheap food.
