We stopped at Paddy Murphy’s on our way from Wicklow to Cork while moving my daughter into the University of Limerick, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my two-week trip around Ireland. The Guinness was absolutely perfect, but what really made it special was the warm welcome to Ireland and the friendly advice for “the girls.” We had a couple of pints and some of the best conversations with the bartender (the owner, I think!) and a few locals. Such genuine hospitality—you really feel part of the community the moment you walk in. I’ll definitely be back next visit!
