The milkshake was actually pretty good, the kebab was alright, but the spice box didn’t really live up to the hype. Overall, it was an okay experience. Great cod, so so chips. But so much variety so there’s something for everyone. Get some takeaway and walk down the town area and eat at the public tables. 4€ bag of is mental but I suppose that's the way the world has gone. It was good to be fair. Ordered a pizza and at 7.15pm, at 8.30pm still no pizza. A chipper that can't make and deliver a pizza, what an embarrassment. Re-edit Review !!! As the saying goes.....fool me twice shame on me. I called in for a piece of chicken and chips. The guy took a few pieces of chicken away saying they were for someone else. I was left with a small leg piece and paid €8 for it with a bag of chips. When i got on the road in the van i discovered that the were there probably twenty minutes. Absolutely rotten. Yet again this place has fooled me with trash. Never again. Such a shame that the food has gone totally downhill. Pizzas were one of the best around but are absolutely terrible now. The pizza had no sauce on the base and if it even did it was absolutely tasteless. The were absolutely disgusting and we're far from fresh, it was as if they were cooked in very old dirty oil. Won't be back again Went in today to Macaris. Ordered three chicken filet burgers. Very disappointed. Absolutely nothing on them. Not a sauce, onions, lettuce. Nothing whatsoever on them. Surprised that they even put the fillets on them. For €19.80. Daylight robbery. RESPECT TO MACARIS!!! They kindly replied back to me this morning in regards to my review. They were very helpful and offered a refund or a new order. It was a confusion and have duly noted the issue. Thank you customer service service for dealing with this promptly. Will definitely be back. Been going here for years Food is always fab Staff are always very friendly Got a pizza and the other night 10/10 in my book! Always top quality! great service used this place a few times now and i cant fault it. Got a delivery last night and i have to say it was the best fresh cod and ive had in ages. staff were very polite and helpful. Pity they dont offer any deserts, only downside. Ment to be a mixed meat snackpack not one bit of donor in it 4 peices of chicken ,rang back to say it to them ,said I won’t be ordering from here again and the person on the phone hung up no respect for the customers at all ,21.70€ this costed me I Was visiting Kildare town yesterday evening and came across this Chipper. I Got a cheese and a Regular Burger and chips.It was just fabulous the were to die for.I will definitely call in again the next time in town ..
