Wow, beautiful park. You will enjoy the walk here. The is so beautiful. Some part of the does need some maintenance, but over all it is a great place to be. You can enjoy the view. There is also an open exercises area with some equipment. We loved it. A perfectly designed public amenity. One Newbridge should be extremely proud of. Nested beautifully between the road and the Liffey. It sports a few sculptures with good pathways. Adding to the Liffeys banks and waterway vista. Well done Newbridge and your Tidy Towns crew,... temporary library will be there This is a beautiful walk right in the centre of Newbridge. The fantastic Liffey is accompanied by lovely Scots Pine, Cedar, Beech, Oak and many other ornamental trees. It's great to see wheelchair friendly picnic tables also. This is a great spot for a ramble or just to sit and take a break from it all, by the flowing water. Perfect!! 👍😃 The side is really nice for the kids to play but the other side (The Strand) where are the gym machines is too big only for the gym machines, a nice kids playground will fit very well in all that large area. Newbridge is really poor for kids playgrounds... Really well maintained walk area. Can be a really peaceful stroll through, right in the heart of Newbridge, babbling water, with regular ducks and swans. All the greenary is looked after and groomed. Well done to Newbridge County Council for this lovely area, thanks. Nice park, busy road on one side, but lots of ducks and a heron on the other. It said online it was 6 miles long, but I only found a path that was not much more an 1 mile. Perhaps I missed the longer path though. Local crows soon became friendly when I shared my lunch with them wonderful yarn bombing in the so colourful A well maintained, and beautiful little riverside with lots of facilities. With the Mini Mocha cafe at one entrance to the park, it makes it a very special place for a stroll, a rest, a chat, and a snack.
