I'll have to check in here again then reevaluate Well I went back here with friends unbelievable we were in for 7 15 i order wings and turkey and ham form a waiter who wasn't interested in been there food was fine when we tried to order deserts at. 8 30 1 hour 15 mins later we were told by a young lad that the chefs were gone home so no deserts dreadful but they were happy to take 200 + euros for what we did get i won't be back i won't recommend this place quite the opposite to anyone i speak to a Bad service ok food enough now Lovely place, food great, Rooms lovely, also met the great Ruby Walsh Lovely old pub and very nice but food is very average. I think for the price the portion sizes aren't amazing, although I do understand restaurants are struggling to cope in the current situation with price rises but it just isn't really worth the money. I don't think I'll be returning unfortunately. I haven't even checked out and I'm already leaving my review because unless one of the members starts banging my door at 2am to ruin my sleep I can see no reason to give them a bad review. Upon arrival I was met at the bar by a very welcoming gentleman who showed me to my very pleasant and comfortable room. I had a bit of food at the bar and unfortunately one item I ordered was sold out but they were very apologetic and I personally thought that was a good sign of the quality I would be getting. I ordered wings with French fries and it was very enjoyable. Although I have rated everything 5 stars I have stayed in better accommodation and had better food. However taking into consideration the friendly and value for money I believe this little gem deserves the highest rating possible. Bardons has the nicest food in Kilcullen 10 times nicer than the hideout! Great service even nicer food I’ve been to bandons plenty of times have tried most things on the menu and never been disappointed! The beef is my favourite but there’s plenty of options for everybody ! 10/10 would recommend Lovely food, great service, good value for money, nice atmosphere, will be back, lives up to its well earned reputation We had a celebratory meal here last night and I haven’t stopped telling anyone who will listen how great it was. are so friendly and attentive, food was delicious and service was quick without feeling rushed.
