This is a gorgeous little space with really lovely staff and fantastic food. We went mid week for brunch and had no issue getting a table in the main restaurant area. The decor is so rustic and simple but makes the space feel so warm. You can see the kitchen area from the restaurant which always adds to the atmosphere. There is a reasonable selection of food on the brunch menu with plenty of different options. We tried the pulled pork hash and the breakfast sandwich. Both were presented so well and tasted even better. The portion sizes are big and great value for money! The staff were so helpful with explaining dishes and baked goods. They were also very attentive and welcoming. There is more on the menu that I would love to try so I can’t wait to come back! Nice cafe in Newbridge that does great food and fine pastries (one of the best in Newbridge) The menu is updated regularly which is interesting and the food is fantastic. Nice and fresh pastries(usually sold out by noon) I have been looking for a cafe with a cool interior, tasty PROPER and delicious cuisine for a long time. Finally I found it. This place really stands out among the local eateries. Bravo! PS Aleppo eggs and cortado are amazing Lovely little spot for or brunch. We went around 2pm on a Friday and didn’t have to wait for a table. I got the Turkish eggs with chorizo which was delicious and my partner got the mushroom toast which was good, but overall a bit dry. The coffees were fantastic- had the best chai latte I’ve ever had there. Would go back for that alone! The atmosphere was curated and lovely - chic but not pretentious. Dubh is such a great place for brunch, the food is always 10/10, the menu changes frequently and has never disappointed, big fan of the potato hash whenever I go and the staff are always so friendly! Great too! The best brunch spot in Newbridge. I always go there. They change the menu frequently so every time I go there are new plates to try. The chocolate brownie is amazing, it’s has a nutty flavor and it’s very soft. Me and my sister got a brioche burger with pulled pork and potatoes and the food was amazing. Lastly, the there is perfect, I always order a hot oat latte with vanilla syrup. Very friendly & attentive staff. The food is delicious & also. The only issue I had was the Courgette dish was too salty this time. Other than that it was very tasty. I can understand why it is such a popular place & will happily go back again. Usually go for and pastries here, staple of the weekend for us. It's absolutely amazing. Ate here once and it blew us away. Great food, great team, highly recommend Dubh! Don’t normally visit Dubh however I’ve been visiting and buying pastries and as they have upped their pastry game 😍 Visited today and my boyfriend decided to try the White Chocolate Pistachio hot drink. The owner, Emma said that it was very sweet but my bf said he would try it anyway. While I liked it, it was sweet for him and he only had half of it (at 11am in the morning lol). Emma checked in with us and asked how the drink was, which my bf agreed with her earlier comment about it being too sweet but nice. Upon paying, Emma didn’t charge us for the hot drink which we did not expect. We would’ve been happy to pay for it no problem at all. We left a tip instead to cover the remainder. I thought it was a lovely gesture even though there was no need at all. Emma was also very attentive to everyone eating & checking in regularly with customers. We will definitely return to dine indoors again. Me and my girlfriend have ate here about 4 times now. Every time it has been wonderful and we’ve never been disappointed by the food or service. It’s a wonderful space to eat too. The best breakfast/lunch you can get, we usually go for an occasion as it’s an hour away but it’s always worth the trip. Portions are good which you sometimes don’t expect with this quality. All in all probably one of my favourite places to be and they make a decent pot of tea !
