Wish I had longer to stay and experience the pub in full swing at night time We had lunch Quick and service Great size bar and dining area Very large beer garden also Nestled in the serene wicklow countryside, The Hollywood Inn is a true gem for those seeking a taste of traditional pub fare. From hearty classics to delicious comfort food, this charming establishment offers a menu that will satisfy any craving. The ambience is inviting and laid-back, with the added delight of a horse in the nearby field, creating a truly idyllic setting. The service at The Hollywood Inn is top-notch, with the going above and beyond to ensure a warm welcome and attentive care throughout the meal. Their demeanour adds to the overall pleasant experience, making diners feel right at home. Overall, The Hollywood Inn is a must-visit for those looking for a quintessential rural Wicklow pub experience. With its rustic charm, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere, it is sure to leave a lasting impression on all who walk through its doors. Lovely little pub. TVs showing horse racing from the Curragh. Great Guinness and really reasonably priced compared to Dublin! The were incredibly - especially the lady behind the bar who served us! Thank you Based on the good reviews, we wanted to round off our family vacation with a shared dinner here. Upon arrival, the outdoor area was filled with an unpleasant smell of frying oil. Although we had reserved a table by phone and the reservation was also recorded, no table was prepared for the required number of people. Although several other tables were available, we were seated opposite the restrooms, even with a direct view of the urinal – as soon as a male guest entered the restroom. The food was mediocre; the fish (fish and chips) was very, very soft and absolutely flavorless; it didn't have the slightest hint of fishy flavor. The dessert was a total disappointment. €7.95 for a 5x5 cm slice of brownie or strawberry cheesecake with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of whipped cream is a steep price. The value for money is not right here. The is plentiful, but the red-haired waitress was by far the friendliest and most attentive, followed by an older gentleman. Perhaps tourists aren't welcome here? In any case, we cannot understand the good reviews and would not the Hollywood Inn. We stayed in Hollywood for a few nights and ate and drank in the Hollywood Inn. The food was superb and competitively priced. Good selection of drinks and we were looked after by Pat, who was a most welcoming and host along with all other who work there. Would definitely recommend. Great Irish restaurant and pub in the “real” Hollywood. Lovely hosts who treated this American and his family to a wonderful dinner and drinks. I strongly this place! The atmosphere, the kind and the food were unique. I added some pictures showing the dishes we ordered, delicious, fresh, tasty and great portions’ size. If you are around, this place is a must! I loved it! The dishes you see are goat cheese w/ salad (starter) and 2 main “today’s special”. Apart from that, they brought us 3 bread slices with butter. I cannot wait to go again! The food is fairly average, as far as I can tell. To be fair, we visited on a busy day, so perhaps it's better when it's less crowded. One thing they did during my visit, which I feel a lot of Irish pubs tend to do, is describe dishes in an elaborate way but fail to serve them to that standard or description. For example, I ordered the chicken wings described as coming in a "soy and honey glaze with sesame and chilli." Having seen other photos of the food from this place, the wings are clearly meant to be served with sesame seeds and thinly sliced chilli peppers. However, on the day I visited, as shown in the photo, they were not. It's a fairly nice place. The are friendly, but the food could use more attention and care. Lovely, cosy pub situated right at the western foothills of the Wicklow Mountains with lovely selection of food with a quick and very service. Highly the Korean-style Chicken wings and the sticky toffee pudding if it’s not sold out. A lovely interior with plenty of quieter areas if the main bar gets too noisy which can be very welcome for people who prefer a quieter visit. I absolutely this place. Really delicious and fresh food (burger and fish&chips + chocolate brownie and black tea) and everything was spot on. Lovely too, very and welcoming. We had a brilliant visit to The Hollywood Inn when looking for a dog pub in the area. The service was very fast, food was delicious and we were made to feel really welcomed. Even the dog was treated to some little extras including water and a treat from the kitchen! We would 100% a visit! I arrived with my father who was in a wheelchair and we where greeted with such kindness. The where incredibly thoughtful, they went out of their way to accommodate us and that was before we had the food. It was 5 star. I couldn't the Inn high enough for their food, service and beautiful location.
