Brilliant campsite and great owner with dry sense of humour! He was really patient and helpful. Really pretty site. They've made a real effort with the trees, shrubs and mowing. Plus you get the sun all evening! Best spots down by the river but watch out for the mosquitos! Ignore the reviews about 'noise' from the factory. It's a very distant hum that you immediately zone out. We've camped by busy roads and raging rivers and waterfalls, which, while spectacular, make way more noise. Also ignore the reviews about the wash rooms. They are huge wet rooms with lashings of hot water and very clean. What more can one ask for. We loved this campsite and can't wait to return. Good place to stay, with integrated shower and WC. plenty of space and feels like a clean, nice area. However, there is a factory across the river, that produce a noise 24/7, so be aware if you're sensitive to a constant sound. Close to a swimming area too. Great site, lovely location by the river. We arrived late and reception was closed but clear instructions were provided for a peaceful night and we paid in the morning, friendly owner. The town has many shops. Totally recommend. Is a very calm and silent place. The river and the nature all around are just beatiful. I’d seen that the cleaners cleaned the public bathrooms and showers more than twice a day. I think that it’s a very good place to stay with your family. Nice site, green lawns, great spots for caravans. However the shower rooms has no ventilation and little to no lighting, and with 30' celcius outside the room held approx 40 with 99% humidity. The biggest letdown however for us as a family with three kids was the lack of playground and activities for kids. Luckily we bring our own toys, bicycles and so on, but a camping site of this caliber should have a playground.
