You are also at the course that inspired the young Jesper Parnevik to great things. From the 14th to the 17th you'll be playing right up against the lakeside enjoying the fabulous climax this course provides. Definitely one to play if visiting Stockholm. Great course!! Park and water, not long but demanding, mistakes can be costly. Very pretty and lots of water. Definitely one of the best courses in Sweden Superb course with nice surroundings. Lovely course, friendly staff and picturesque scenery - especially 14th and 15th by the water! Nice food in the restaurant too! I decided to go to Täby GK because its a bit further from Stockholm in the Swedish countryside. After some help from the reception I met Linus (the Headpro). He helped me with some rental clubs and all the things I needed to play 9 holes. The driving range was pretty standard but with a wide range of targets which i really liked. I rather had seen also some rubber tees to practice the driver, but thats a minor things. On the putting practice green I noticed how quick the greens where. I wished that in the Netherlands they maintain them like this. I just played on the first 9 so i don't know how the back nine is. I saw on the map that the fairways on the first 9 where a bit wider then the back nine. But I enjoyed the a lot just the right amount of elevation to make it really fun and challenging for me. The teeboxes where well maintained and the teebox markers where well designed with the bins in the ground, which resulted in a clean look. The fairways where as they should be maybe a bit dry but thats because of the weather lately. As sad the greens where perfect, sometimes people just forgot to repair there marks which is always a shame. Sand in the bunkers, top layer soft under layer a bit pressed. At all a nice club in the country side on a short distance from Stockholm, friendly people who will help you and with some great with elevation and lake side views. Wide range of teebox selections with far backtees. I liked the par 3,7th the most,10 meters elevation difference, play on the left frontside of the green and the ball will roll to the middle or back rightside of the green. Tack Täby GK! Jag är inte golfare, men besöker ofta restaurangen. Otroligt god och vällagad mat, bra pris, samt mycket trevlig personal. Fin miljö, huvudbyggnaden är från slutet av 1800-talet. Rogivande att vara där, man känner sig även välkommen av golfarna. Lovely place. 3 or 4 beautiful but many stupid holes. I drove into the middle of the fairway 3 times and had no clue where the green was. I wouldn't recommend Täby GK if you are a serious golfer. Nice environment though! Härlig bana.
