This campsite has very relaxed atmosphere. Remember to call the host before arrival. We travelled with tent and needed electricity. All was available right away. It seemed that there is not that many spots for random travellers with tent so it is best to call and make sure. Kitchen and other facilities were very clean. Would there be more people using them, it might get crowded. There are some trails you can walk and see the Viking sites nearby. Our group of 8 had a terrible stay at Jaf Hotel: • Incorrect breakfast charges: Paid for two, but only two elderly guests ate. A third person went just to assist them, yet extra €45/day was charged. We ended up paying €160 to check out. • Threatening management: After refusing extra charges, our room doors were blocked. Tourist police had to be called, but communication was difficult as they didn’t speak English. • Poor cleanliness: Rooms not cleaned for three days, terrible odor, feces on bathroom door, only one towel in double room, no hand soap, and last night spent in a very foul-smelling room. • Unprofessional experience: Extremely disappointing and distressing. We will pursue this matter through our embassy and legal counsel. We do not recommend this hotel. Beautiful camping place near Stockholm. Important—call the owner at the number they provide before 21:00 to reserve a spot. They have only 15 places for transients. Owned and operated by a very nice couple who live on site. There is a small beach that provides access to a nice lake for swimming and water activities. Highly recommend to anyone returning a camper the following day in the west Stockholm/ Vallentuna area, as it is only 12 minutes away. Brilliant location near to Stockholm, very scenic with beautiful lake, nice and quiet, staff extremely friendly and helpful, wonderful sauna too, we highly recommend this site to others! Quiet difficult to get in, but camping is perfect: Very nice owners (they lives in camping) - lot's of attitude to every visitor. Very clean all around - camp places, toilets, showers and kitchen - visitors are involved to keep everything clean as well. Very peaceful and quiet place despite small distance from Stockholm (15min of driving to the center). I like this camping atmosphere. Thanks to owners!!! A beautiful campground. lots of permanent campers, a very good sanitary house (clean and equipped with everything needed).
