The "bridge" itself is a recreation of the original with two of the four original runestones in place. A great starting point for a trip round Vallentuna lake searching for runestones, there are two big runestones to try and interpret here along with a rune-themed playground. The is not actually that great, rather uninspiring unfortunately but fine in the summer months for small kids. Icy and virtually unusable in winter. There is a nice grassy field behind the that leads to a ramble that will take you through the forest towards the lake, lovely any time of year. Great information about the history of the region in both Swedish and English and the has a theme. If you’re into vikings and the futark, combine a stop here with Täby church nearby.
