The are well contoured and offers variety for intermediate skiers. Good quality artificial snow that was enjoyable to ski on. It's easy to spend an entire day here but 2-3 hours of ski is also satisfying. Overall well planned ski park with good facilities. 🔸️ Ski Area For beginners, there's a large area equipped with a long button lift. The incline (green) is gentle for those just starting. There are lots of younger kids here so the wait in the queue is longer. For intermediate skiers, the red satisfy with the contours of steeper and undulating inclines. The are challenging but also wide so if you don't want to go too fast, you can cruise about the on the way down. The t-bar lifts are easy to get on and the ride is smooth almost all the way until close to the top where there is always a bump before you release the lift. The Funpark was very popular with teenagers and has a variety of slides and jumps. 🔸️ FOOD You can find warm food and drinks in the cafe or at the hamburger grill. There is also a kiosk selling sweet smelling waffles closer to the toilets. The basic hotdog (korv med bröd) was yummy as a snack. Hot chocolate topped with whipped cream was good too but very sweet. 🔸️ PARKING Limited lots closer to the entrance. Street parking available. White lunch. Skiing with sunshine, a few degrees warm on a weekday, with only a few person's on the slopes, is a joy. Imagine that we can do this in Stockholm in the middle of March Grym snö för att ha varit plusgrader länge. Trevliga pistvakter och personal. Bra utrustning att hyra. Hade dock varit trevligt med toalettmöjligheter i familjebacken och kanske att fikastånd eller bara en kaffe/varmchoklad-maskin. Family friendly ski facility, close to large cities such Stockholm and Uppsala. Have flexible ski pass - everything from just 1 hour to a full day skiing. Have all the basic facilities (parking, toilets, café, place to seat and eat you own food). There are green, blue and red trails. It i great place to learn skiing. We have been here at the end of Jan. The main problem is that there is no snow and tracks are icy. That is nothing owners can do about, but be aware. Go there when temp is negative and there is a possibility to make artificial snow or there is natural snowfall for a couple of days. I will for sure come back when weather is better. This place was so good I will definitely go again... I was a novice so didn't do all the just the safe one. 😊 I highly recommend for beginners... Also try and choose the time you go probably later which means less crowd. Average stay is 2 hrs, that's how long I stayed. It’s a small ski slope and a bit expensive for what it offers, but considering that Stockholm doesn’t have many options, it’s actually pretty good. It’s usually not too crowded during weekdays, but it gets busy on weekends. A nice spot for kids to learn skiing. Long walk from car park to kid's slope. If there are two adults, the best move is to drop everyone off at the Vändplan next to the family slope and then park the car yourself. The ski pass prices are ok for older kids but I don't understand why my 5 year old and I had to pay 520 SEK to for 3 hours at ancient button lift that is barely 200 meters long. Would recommend more differentiated prices. Staff were nice. Small, but close, nice to warm up the legs, and great waffles En av norra Stockholms bättre backar. Perfekt för att ta några svängar en vardag eller helg. Dock ligger barnbacken en bit bort vilket drar ner betyget något. Service quality is bad, very long queues in all places Helt ok backe för att vara i Stockholmsområdet. Synd bara att parkering endast finns längs gatan vid lägenhetshusen. Mysigt café med trevlig personal, bra lutning för att vara i Stockholm. Relativt annat i området bra. Jämför inte med anläggningar på annan ort. Nice view 👍 beautiful sunset in the evening Helt ok backe Little bit small, but nice place to have fun. Not far away, you can go on weekends, ski 3-4 hours and go back home.
