The best I have ever been. The building itself is unique, the are excellent, prices are matching. We just wanted to taste some local wines, but not a full event, because I had to drive home later. So we tasted 4 different types, wanted to pay, but I was told that it has no price, if I liked any of these and buy a bottle, that is fine. Lovely at Edi Simcic with very knowledgable host, beautiful room and delicious snacks. Tour through the cellar inclusive. Overall a very nice experience. Owner was there too and we met them in the end. Can only recommend to visit and arrange when in the area Wonderful and all but one of the pairings (a white) was well done. I was a bit surprised at the price they wanted for their reds when we looked at the order form. Not very realistic compared to the others we had available from Italy right next door. Points off mostly for lack of communication with shipping. Heard nothing for weeks after leaving (paying and arrangements done before we left) until we asked and were told they were shipping. Here we are over 6 weeks after our visit and we have neither a tracking number nor a delivery date. And the hottest part of the year so far is upon us. Here’s hoping their insulation is better than their customer service. Not impressed. We had a fantastic at this winery! The owner was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, providing us with detailed insights into the art of winemaking and the various they offered. The interior was nothing short of amazing, with intricate details that added to the overall charm. Not to mention, the view of the hills was breathtaking. The themselves were outstanding, and we left thoroughly impressed. If you find yourself in Brda, this is an absolute must-stop for a you won’t forget.
