A truly beautiful landscape to walk around! The terrain is steep in parts but once you make it to the top of the hills the are breathtaking. You can see for miles at the top of the hills, and walk down to the pristine Gullet Quay at the bottom. The car park is easy to access with lots of spaces. Make sure you take proper footwear and plenty of water on a hot day. Picked the perfect day with clear skies, glorious sunshine & little breeze. Very steep climb. Some paths not well signposted but worth it for the tremendous from The Beacon. Found an easier route back via St. Anne's Well which was lovely even though the cafe was closed. Lovely walk, good gentle slopes and week maintained. Parking is a bit deer and there aren't any bins to drop litter in until you get back, but it's not a huge distance. Dogs were welcome. Stunning and a great family hike We followed a roughly 5km trail starting at British Camp, and it was a fantastic experience. Our kids (5 and 3) absolutely loved it—though the youngest spent half the distance in our backpack carrier along the way. The from the hilltops are breathtaking, and the landscape makes it feel like a real adventure for little ones. We also found loads of ripe brambles in late July, which made for a fun and tasty bonus. A great mix of nature, history, and family-friendly walking—highly recommended if you're in the area. There’s a pub and public toilets nearby and a few geocaches. Very good for a dog walk We visited British Camp Hill Fort in Colwall, Malvern (WR13 6HR, UK) and it was absolutely stunning, offering some of the most beautiful from the top. The fort sits 338 meters above sea level, providing breathtaking panoramic views, especially over Wynds Point, the main pass through the hills at the time. Highly recommend visiting.
