We stop to have a look to the while driving. Even if a little noisy the place was lovely. And he had lunch there, on the side we could nearly hear the noise from the road. We had a lovely lunch, everything was tasty 😋! Included veggies, water and coffee with the meal was a sweet add. Great surprise and break ! Modern lodgings at a great location: right next to a beautiful lake, and very convenient when travelling between Stockholm and Oslo as it is right next to the road. On the downside, it is right next to the road, and the proprietors are well aware that some noise is inevitable, as they provided free ear plugs for guests. Personally, I did not find the noise particularly distracting, and indeed had a great night's sleep. My wife went for a swim in the in the morning, and assured me that the water is "bloody cold" in October. Still, it is really convenient right outside the room. Breakfast in our case meant a bag with breakfast food in the fridge; a decent selection, though obviously mostly cold. I would have liked a cup of tea instead of instant coffee, but it does wake you up. As we staid during the off-season, most facilities were closed by the time we arrived, but we received a code to get our keys very easily in the evening. Theoretically, we could even have used the small kitchen to cook something up. Overall, a very clean and comfortable stay for travelers, with plenty of facilities for longer stays too. We had lunch there, a bit expensive but wirth the extra cost. Nice food, venue and (litetary on the lakeside). Friendly staff. Absolutely superb! As an English person travelling, the E-18 just has junk food establishments. This place has amazingly well cooked and delicious food, fantastic and quick service. The place is extremely clean and tidy. We were lucky with the weather, so sat outside and lapped up the beautiful view. Outstanding! Wonderful surroundings and stunning view, super friendly and welcoming staff and the best hamburger and fries we ever had "by the road". The fries were the best thing I've ever eaten. They were so crispy and delicious. They have something for everyone. The is beautiful as you eat right by the water.
