Great cafe in a square..staff lovely...lovely cocktails..Hugo..with little savoury snacks!!! Don't get put off by the pesky pigeons!... you get water sprays on each table to repel them!! We served coffee, cappuccino and tea. Soja milk available. They don’t have menus for coffees so it’s to ask in advance about the price. The coffee and cappuccino was good, recommend it :) The price for a cappuccino and espresso was 1.5 euro. A tea was 4 euro. We arrived in La Spetzia today and after dinner we thought we'd have a nightcap. We popped in to Caffe Centrale and were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere. The menu is quite expansive and the was excellent. I had a Mojito and other friends went for wine and an Espresso Martini. None of us were disappointed. We were offered a sharing plate which consisted of mini pizzas, sandwiches, bruschette and olives. All great food. While we are here, we will more than likely pay another visit. Great place for an aperitivo! Instead of the usual chips and olives, you get an entire plate of beautifully arranged Bruschette etc, very very nice! The staff are friendly, and COVID-19 measures are followed closely (very hygienic). Was not expecting the croissant to look like this but it was delicious!! Cappuccino was very tasty as well. 3.50€ total Caffè ottimo I honestly only like to post positive reviews. After 50+ meals in Italy in the last 3 weeks. This was by far the worst. Caprese salad with no basil…. How do you offer a 3 ingredient salad with only 2?? And no explanation or apology. And the Cotoletta was straight out of the microwave. Didn’t finish either dish, paid and left. Don’t even bother. Just an ordinary cafe at a minimum. Beautiful spot, great for a drink after the train station. Ricky was very friendly and nice. Fantastic English. Great music and drinks. Well priced! Would come back again. a very Aperitivo at Centrale! We had very Aperol Spritz with tagliere and the was very pleasant! They also serve a small bowl of chips along with your drinks. bar to enjoy some with your friends. Wonderful service! The waiter was incredibly friendly and helpful – he recommended a few that turned out to be absolutely perfect. You could tell he really knew what he was talking about and tailored his suggestions to our tastes. He definitely made the evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place – both for the atmosphere and the top-notch service! Ricki and the other staff on at this time were great. and food were delicious. A bit off the Main Street which is great because you can avoid the huge crowds. Stopped by as we are waiting on or Air B and B. Probably the best Lasagna that I had thus far since we’ve been out here. The Pizza and Pesto Pasta was delicious. They sat us right away and we had a party of 8. The focaccia wasn’t the greatest the meat had a very strong taste but if I didn’t get that would’ve been a 5 star food experience. One of the best cocktail joints in La Spezia.
