Several attractions for children, especially for the summer (a system of little canals and waterfalls in particular). An interesting reproduction of the solar system, to scale, a few hundred meters wide. Lovely stream and water source. Conveniently located, close to the city centre, with restaurants and shops. A fun for kids and their families. Used for events and there are two free chess game set up on the floor close. Always full during sunny days..it's a beautiful sight to behold. The greatest thing about this park is the real scale model of the solar system. I'm not sure if there is any other true scale model elsewhere. Take a walk from the model of the sun to Mars and be amazed, how small and how far away the planets really are! Great little ice cream parlour. That's all for this place. Not good for kids.. 2 swings.. tiny slide.. wooden balance beams. Swings are 100m away from anything too. I go just for a ride and ice cream. I like this park very much, especially the solar system to scale. Unfortunately mercury and Venus were enclosed within a venue for a live band on my last visit. However the Shanty Singers were great and the model boats good fun! What a great place to relax. Shops and restaurants are all close, but lose time by relaxing in an amazing park. Arminiuspark beträgt ca 6,2 Hektar Fläche. Bei der Arminiusquelle kann man das Wasser ( Heilwasser) probieren und auf die mittelalterliche Burgruine schauen. Für Kinder gibt es Spielplätze und eine Wiese zum rum toben und eventuell einfach auf einer Picknick Decke zu pausieren. Es steht alle paar Meter eine Parkbank so das jeder ein Platz finden kann. Über eine kleine Brücke erreicht man die Kaiser-Karls-Trinkhalle und die Liborius Trinkhalle. Es gibt viel zu sehen und zu entdecken. Sehr zu empfehlen.
