That glorious Christmas Tree with the town hall building at the background and the falling snow makes the place look like a scene from a Christmas greeting card. Decent selection of goods, food and drinks. But relatively more pricey compared to German markets. One of the most beautiful Christmas markets I've been to. Great atmosphere, always some program and music + great mulled and something to eat :) I'm still waiting for it to actually snow here at night, I have 5 more to go, so fingers crossed. Cool Christmas market, selling lots of food, drinks and souvenirs, well checking out. I had high hopes for the christmas market. I had imagined that it would be a bit bigger than it actually was but I can't complain too much. The was really beautiful and there were a bunch of glögg / mulled stands. It was amazing to get some hot glögg in the cold weather, however I think that there were a bit too many glögg stands in total. I wish the had more variety. It was fun going around from stall to stall looking what each of them had. The food was amazing. I had some venison and blood sausage. Both of them were incredible, even the "plate" was edible as it was made out of bread! The pancake that I had was okay, nothing special. Some of the stands were out of some things and the variety was not the best, hence why I give it 4 stars. Definitely not bad and a visit but I'd recommend the christmas in Helsinki, Finland more. One of the most beautiful markets in Europe. The lack of snow obviously doesn’t make it same romantic but it is amazing still. Try blood sausage, glogg and souvenirs from Estonia 🇪🇪 Love it, love the place, every winter cant wait to visit Very great experience to look Christmas here first time during snow. Very romantic, enjoy walking and drink hot and also they have a show during Christmas time. Happy and enjoy market. What a fairly take like place to be. Not particularly very big like German markets but very beautifully located in the old town square the is open from 9-9 and brings delightful experience. Great shops & activity & food booths so all will find reason to visit it. Sellers are friendly . Christmas has many traditional performances done on the large stage built next to the shops. Many food options & several interesting shopping . A must see Tallinn’s Christmas is an absolute gem! Nestled in the heart of the historic Old Town, it feels like stepping into a fairy tale. The cozy wooden stalls offer delightful handmade crafts, festive treats, and warming mulled wine. The twinkling lights and the towering Christmas tree create a magical ambiance. It’s a perfect spot to soak up the holiday spirit and experience the charm of Tallinn at its best. Highly recommended for a memorable winter outing! Very cool and amazing market, well going to. Highly recommend going to if you are in Tallinn during christmas. Way too expensive..7-8 euro for one glöggi, the food is in really big portions, not always possible to find something vegetarian too, so I picked some french fries: a small handful for 7 euro. On saturday Santa came by, that was fun, he is a great entertainer, driving by with his car, there was dancing on the stage...that was great. If you want to enjoy a quiet cup of glöggi for 4-5 euro and some REALLY good food or little treats like gingerbread, waffles or chimney cake you should try the christmas at balti jaama turg..it's really it!! There's some nice music too. Christmas is nice and small but gives a vibe of santa in winter with hot cocoa in hand and cinnamon bun The Tallin Christmas is definitely a must-visit when visiting Tallinn. It's super beautiful with a huge christmas tree in the middle and lots of small shops and stalls. Of course a bit on the more expensive side but definitely a stroll through! This is my first time in Estonia and was told i mist visit the Old Town and The Christmas which I did. What a wonderful experience it was surreal a must if you go this time of year good selection of stalls and the surrounding pubs and restaurants adds to the experience. Absolutely beautiful Christmas market! The atmosphere was so festive. I really enjoyed my time there and would love to come back one day. I had read so much about the Christmas and, to be honest, I was slightly disappointed. Half of the stalls are mulled stands, although I must say that the was extremely good and available in many different varieties. What makes this visiting for me, however, is the warmth of the Estonian people – and the folk groups on stage were simply adorable. Was lovely, but small, the same stalls repeated with same items. Items were over priced. Was nice to stroll too yes, and look around, nice atmosphere and nice mulled wines but wouldn't be booking flights for this event only. You'll spend and max of 30mins here.
