It's ok - very loud so be advised you won't get a good night sleep. Toilets are less than mediocre - either the water is scolding hot or freezing cold It's OK, toilet and shower facilities aren't great Wonderful marineros and staff. The it self is lacking comfort, security and care. Great right in the centre of Ceuta, stern too moorings, very helpful marinos, closes in the afternoon low season but the marinaros are available on ch9. As with all city centre marinas a little traffic noise but quiet after midnight, will visit again. No place for parking without being ripped off by parking fees. You have to pay parking if you want to deliver something by car to your boat! Unusual place. Handy to town, shopping is excellent everything is Duty Free. is expensive for a Catamaran. I think is unfair to charge double for a Catamaran.The staff very friendly and helpful. The toilets are far from perfect, but usable. The door locks for them are very hard to get working. itself is nice, and the city around amasing. If you get there, don't miss Oasis restaurant! A Taxi ride up hill (4-5E) with spectacular views, delicious arabic food, and nice atmosphere. Really traditional and nice place, but only spanish or french is spoken. We arrived on a Saturday evening, being received by the marineiro (security?). We wanted to leave the boat there for one month which was ok. However, the security guard first gave us an outrageous price (more than 4 times the price quoted on their website). We said we cannot pay that much, but he insisted we pay for the first two nights and then the rest at the harbour when it opened Monday. He overcharged us by 24 euros for those two nights, this was after negotiating the price down to half of what he first wanted. When the harbour opened, they gave us the price which was actually quoted on their website. I then requested a 24 euro discount due to the earlier overcharge, however the lady working in the got all hostile and rude and said that was not possible. Also had to pay for electricity and water even though we would not be present on the boat for 28 out of 30 days... All fine, when I came to collect the boat I visited the to return the access card and get the 20 euro deposit back. However, the same lady was then saying I needed to provide the (tiny) receipt of deposit, which of course I had lost in the paperwork mess one month earlier. Overall, we paid 44 euros too much, and received furious and rude treatment from the elderly lady in the harbour office. The (and Ceuta in general) reeks of diesel fumes from the power-plant and ferry/tanker ships coming, whom burn the dirties diesel (bunker fuel) on market. Even the passenger ferries are advertising their new and less-polluting LPG ships everywhere. But changing to cleaner diesel within the existing fleet?? Naaah, of course not. You would see black clouds of smoke covering the every 30 mins with westerly winds. Also the has bright blue-white flood lights everywhere, making the stay very unpleasant, and lot's of noise and pollution from the road traffic. If you want to visit Morocco, I would rather sail to one of the Moroccan ports than having to deal with this place. As for visiting Ceuta, it's not a very interesting place. Diesel was 1.42 eur/l, however it is cheaper in both Morocco and Gibraltar.
