Very comfortable and warm beach. There has a lot water activities you can do, like SUP. We have a wonderful sunset here. Excellent and clean sand a bit outside Tallinn. Water is shallow pretty far out. If you only have standard bus fares for Tallinn city, make sure you do not take bus lines with numbers over 100 (e.g. 114) even though Google Maps often recommends so. These are regional lines and require you to buy extra tickets. Alternatively, a Taxi fare is twice as fast and costs around 10€. Lovely beach, just a short bus ride from the city center. Very nice and clean and very cheap parking After almost 30 years of living abroad, found my way back home to Estonia and started a new chapter of my life here in Pirita area. A home, I didn't know i have always dreamed of ;-) Pirita offers nice, clean sand with restaurants, bar, yacht club, surfers club and shops near by. There are also some apartments for rent right at the beach. Nice forests walking distance and even separate dog beach. I personally my dog here every day! Definitely worth visiting, kids friendly zone. Recommend! Really nice place relatively near the centre. Worth an afternoon picnic and walk. There are also some volleyball courts and, when we were there, there was also a volley ball there to use. Pirita is the ultimate nature experience to fully enjoy a day by the sea. Visually very beautiful and soothing, especially watching the boating and sailing life as an extra relaxing sea experience. A very vast, wide, lovely sandy and a long walking pier, suitable for all ages. Young children can be seen fishing from the pier, with fishes biting the hook and all. Also a disabled-friendly as it looks easy to gain acess from the parking lots for disabled at the entrance. The nature area, both beach, pier and the adjoining forest is possible to visit with wheelchair. Many restrooms along the and forest looks easy to enter, free of cost and easy for all ages and wheelchairs!🚻 ♿ As a change, there is also the forest along by the beach, a wide walking-friendly, very beautiful for both pedestrians, cyclists and wheelchair users. Families, couples, solo, everyone finds something - long walks, playing in the sand, picnic, sunbathing, play ball games, sit and chill, listen to the waves, have a snack, just doing nothing, surfing, swimming, you name it! Fantastic for a day off and for having a guaranteed lovely day. Be it summer heat, freezing winter, early spring or a crisp autumn day - Pirita is always worth a visit for relaxation, revival and physical and spiritual refreshment. It's also very easy to get there and back, by many busses with a bus stop nearby the entrance, just on a short walking distance. Really pretty beach. Soft sand, clean water, and not very crowded. Wooded area nearby, as well as swingsets for kids and workout equipment for adults. Water was a bit cold in June, but still warmer than in Northern California. Restrooms halfway up the beach. Clean, picturesque, pine forest, beaches. Beautiful Lovely with a great restaurant and Harbour. Great views out to sea and to central Tallinn. No dog friendly. It is called dog discrimination, in the modern world. There is no part for dogs to enjoy the beach, even in bad weather, when nobody is on the beach, you can not go with your dog alongside the water, on the leash. The Malibu boys are working till 6-8pm, so I think after this time no one cares. Human beings are only a little part of the planet Earth eco system, but they can throw garbage on beaches, pee, be dirty etc. And they also think that they can decide for other planet Earth inhabitants where they can be allowed. It is called dog discrimination. You can go for a through the forest and then have a swim on the Baltic Sea. Wonderful.
