Near to popular tourist destination Roros but still peaceful and quite. We had amazing stay in the wonderful cabin. The home was well equipped and amazing for a 4 people. We were able to witness snowfall in may end at this place. The property was exceptionally clean and nice. Peaceful and lovely. The campsite is very clean and almost feels like a small cute village. While the showers and toilets are not stunning, they are clean and functional! I highly recommend to ask the reception for the hike to Høsenfjellhytta, which is an easy hike of about 45 Minutes. You can see the view from the top in the pictures, and can collect many berries and see untouched nature on the hike. We didn't meet any other hikers so definitely a secret tip! It is a large cabin that has everything you need. Big comfy bed, kitchen and big bathroom with a nice shower. We make use of the breakfast service and was really good. Homemade bread and crackers. Very clean and dog friendly campground. Our hytte (Nr. 12) was very clean and organized (inl., shower, wc, tv, fireplace and full kitchen) it surpassed our expectation. We would stay there again! If you are noise sensitive, you might need earplugs due to the trafic on the main road, but the camping place it self inspires you to be quiet and peaceful.
