Chicken fillet with chese, large portion and very well done. So when talking about food, there is no problem. When ot comes to pricing, it is the problem. For food already quite high prices, but is and in large amount. But for drinks you get basically charged 4.6 to 5 EUR. Also for 0.2l bottle. Thats really overpriced. It's like a bate for tourist coming from Senj down the road and it is first bigger restaurant on the road with parking. I personally paid for the 2 persons, incl 3 drinks around 55 eur. I do believe, that better pricing policy would get more customers and better reviews. Also it is not true, that you cannot pay by card. You can pay by Visa, MasterCard with ease. Few meters down the road you have more restaurants in Karlobag. At this pricing it was for me the first amd also the last visit here. But maybe it is a business policy, that works. :) A place if your expectations are not too high. But the food was delicious only the price is a little bit on the high end. Had two octopus salads(served still frozen), then two portions of fried calamari, two beers, cola, two side dishes. Payed 126€ for this lunch! Avoid this place. Food was just bad. Fried and grilled squid wern't cleaned and probably previously frozen. Meatplatter was okish, pretty bland, under cooked, just pale. And how the hell do you serve fries to a meatplatter and a bit of tomato sauce costs 3€ per portion? Only thing: drinks aren't to expensive. I really don't understand the bad reviews. Waiter was extremely nice, funny and attentive. +good english! Food was delicious, portions more than enough. Aperol was good, house white wine as well. Would recommend!
