Leven Beach

Leven, United Kingdom Beach pavillion

Nice place for a pleasant walk. Se had spent a few hours at Bowhouse Market and was driving back to Silverburn Park Campsite where we were staying. I decided to take the kids for an ice cream in Elie and what a treat and such a beautiful setting. Small shops and cafes, with public toilets for the kids while is ideal. It’s easy to see why Victorian factory workers from Glasgow loved holidaying in Leven. The massive sandy stretches for miles and gives great views out over the Firth of Forth. The is remarkably quiet and free of litter compared to similar beaches on the West Coast. The wind coming of the Forth is generally mild and not as cutting as at some other beaches. Highly recommended for a walk with the dog. Lovely long sandy and wonderful views across to Berwick Law and Bass rock and parts of the Fife coastal path. Great place for walking the dog. Plenty of car parking and there’s a cycle path along the front. There is a big amusement arcade with cafe, which has just had an upgrade. This lively clean is well worth a visit and it’s not far from the town centre where there are plenty of cafes and bakers etc. Awesome very clean and tidy with great views lots of dog walkers around and not far into town Calm and peaceful beach! Many people take their dogs for a walk in the sand. The sand seemed very clean to me, as did the water, which was quite transparent. Great place to relax 🌊✨☀️ Quiet beech, lots of parking and places to sit. Amusement arcade and cafe having a refit. Crazy ⛳ and children attractions. Make sure you go and see the public art. It's trying and with the flat paths accessible sea views What an amazing beech, lovely sands and reasonably quiet and peaceful. Fantastic, just what we were looking for. This is a really nice part of the Fife Coastal Path and from Leven to Lower Largo is a cracking little walk!
