Beautiful spot, but do not go before 9:30 am during weekends if you would like to enjoy a coffee on the … or bring your own from home! it has many unofficial but inconvenient entrance covered with tall grasses. it jas ok view but not that I would recommend comparing to lots of great place in Dundee and among beautiful beaches in Scotland The recent redesign including new pavements, cycle lanes and wildflower meadows have improved the whole esplanade all the way from Barnhill Rock Gardens - or as we call it Teletubby Lands - immensely. Love this place it has a lovely laid back vibe and is abundant with inpendant shops, plenty of food, and drink options for a huge variety of people. It has that village feeling that made me feel at home straight away. The castle is a must to visit and photo op!! Then there is the talk about a bonus. Walking along this instantly throws into holiday mode it is lovely, and you don't have to walk on the sand because there is a pavement running alongside the beach. Then, after a short walk, there is a wonder little cafe that makes a mean latte extra shot coffee again fully accessible There you can sit and admire the view . A really nice to visit during summer. Has cute cafés nearby and a park for children to play in. Dogs are usually not allowed into the but can depend during different times. Jet skis and other boat rentals are available. The castle nearby is free to enter and a really picturesque spot!
