Beautiful, serene, and we'll worth the visit. Do take the opportunity to meditate while there. Amazing cultural, natural and historical experience. Warmly recommended. Dag Hammarskjöld was a remarkable man. He bought and renovated this house in 1957 when he was UN Secretary-General. Today it is a museum dedicated to him and it is well worth visiting. There was a meeting of the UN Security Council here in April 2018, and it is rare that the Council meets outside of its New York headquarters. There are splendid walks as well. Nice place, important place, beautiful place! Visit, learn, understand and meditate as Dag Hammarskjöld would! I love the view up there. Take a long walk a long the sea and enjoy the peace... The meaning of the place.. Interesting to learn about the history with the UN Peace Intressant, rofyllt och vackra omgivningar. I didn’t know I liked lobster, but… A fantastic place reminding us about the importance of working for peace and friendship The peacefull tranquility of the land is restorative. The small museum on Dag Hammerskjold is defenitely worth visiting.
