Dag Hammarskjöld was a remarkable man. He bought and renovated this house in 1957 when he was UN Secretary-General. Today it is a museum dedicated to him and it is well worth visiting. There was a meeting of the UN Security Council here in April 2018, and it is rare that the Council meets outside of its New York headquarters. There are splendid walks as well.
