There is a few trails, but none too long. Most go through cool rock formations. Some go steep up hill towards an old castle at the top. There is a cool lookout area at the top for a nice view. There is 2 parking areas. Enjoyed the time there. Lovely park that is nice to explore especially with kids. This granite rock formations hide a lot of interesting climbs and they lead to the Falkenstein castle with a splendid view from there over the hills and woods of the "Bayerische Wald". Very beautiful place Die Burg Falkenstein ist wirklich ein beeindruckendes Ausflugsziel. Sie thront hoch oben auf einem Felsen und bietet einen atemberaubenden Ausblick über den Bayerischen Wald. Die Burg selbst ist sehr gut erhalten und beherbergt ein Museum zur Jagd- und Wildgeschichte. Außerdem gibt es dort einen tollen Felsenpark und einen schönen Biergarten. Der Eintritt zur Burg selbst ist kostenlos, der Burgturm kostet aber 1 € Durchgang durch das Drehkreuz. Die Aussicht ist wahnsinnig toll. Leider gibt es keinen Wechselautomaten, dies daher bedenken! Der Weg vom Parkplatz zur Burg ist leicht auch mit einem Kinderwagen begehbar. Für den Rundweg, welcher durch den Wald und die Felsen verläuft sollte man allerdings ungefähr eineinhalb bis zwei Stunden einplanen und man sollte gutes und festes Schuhwerk anhaben. Die Wanderung ist ein Abenteuer und absolut empfehlenswert! It is a bit of a hike through the village to reach the castle, but it was definitely worth it. The view of the Bavarian forest is stunning, and visiting an actual castle was fascinating. The cafe was a welcome rest to have a beer. On the way down, the rock formations are quite interesting. If you visit the area, it s a must see. A beautiful hike, especially in autumn. Our 3-year-old loved climbing the steps all the way up to the castle. The view from the tower was very nice.
