A 10 minute experience While I did not get to use the facilities as they were completely booked, I found the staff very friendly, welcoming and eager to please. The prices for the services were fair and looking forward to coming back in the future. Spa 100% Health This sounded like a great idea. A historical place that within the last few years, reopened to the public, giving us the chance to experience the natural thermal baths that this town is known and named for. We made our appointment. A thermal bath followed by a hot stone massage. To start, the address when making the appointment was never given but the person we were in contact with through emails, had a signature with the address. So we followed that address thinking that it was the place. Wrong. It was the municipal buildings about 900 meters away. After parking and realizing this we had to walk the rest. I told them at reception that they should communicate this to their guests. The response was that everyone knew where this place was, to which I said, not if you’re not from around here. Then we were informed that the thermal bath we came for was not possible. So that got cancelled and only the hot stone massage was available. The excuse was not really clear but that we could come back tomorrow for the bath. Really, it was the only reason we went. We got ready for the hot stone massage. Luke warm stones with feather light massages. The room was cold and uncomfortable. Both my partner and I almost got up off the tables and left. We actually turned to each other during it and discussed abandoning this pathetic attempt of a massage, but decided to stay and not aggravate ourselves further. Ultimately we left more irritated and stressed that when we arrived. We had to make our way back to the change rooms with no direction and no one was around (the place is huge to guide yourself without direction). We just left, unattended to as we walked out the doors. Perhaps the baths are good, so I’ll leave 2 stars. I’ll never know and won’t take the chance ever coming back to find out. For a city run place, they need to invest in people who know how to run it and do things properly. Beautiful spot to stroll and romance. Beautiful grounds and lake next to the hospital. Worth a visit It’s a pity I have to give only 2 stars to this location. The building is very beautiful from a distance, however, it’s is almost completely destroyed. The park outside it is poorly taken care of and very dirty. The local municipality should invest in renovation as it has a great potential to getting paying visitors to the city. Absolutely stunning place. Looks like something out of a movie. Pity is abandoned and vandalized. It would be a stunning hotel. Grey place. It was our first time at the thermal baths and the experience was amazing. Walking through the hospital was going back in time, the building carries so much history. The staff was welcoming and caring, explaining everything with gentleness. And the massage under the water was heavenly 💜💜💜 I’ve been coming here for a few years and I find the spa services amazing and fairly affordable. This year there is a lack of attentiveness in the after spa lounge. They have removed the teas and hot water. Although they still provide regular water, the container was not sanitary and not cleaned properly. Very disappointed in the decline of relaxing attributes that room provided to clients.
