Everything was homemade, delicious, and beautiful. Served with excellent Greek hospitality. Good food like grandma would do at good price. The women working there are really polite. Amazing food and hosts, it would be just better if the outside seating was not right near the streets as we had small kids with us. We loved all dishes and especially the meat. The owners were very attentive and just lovely people to talk to. And they loved kids too. I definitely recommend to visit this place if you are in Alistrati area, you can combine with visiting Alistrati cave. Wonderful cozy tavern with extremely nice and welcoming staff. Food was delicious and portions were huge. We had no issue ordering in English. Βλέποντας το μαγαζί δεν σου γεμίζει το μάτι... αλλά μόλις έρθει το φαγητό (φαγητό μαμάς ή κυρίας Στέλλας) αλλάζεις αμέσως γνώμη.. πολύ νόστιμα ότι πήραμε...και τέλος έρχεται και το γλυκό.. απόλαυση!!! Loving mothers’ hands will cook delicious homemade meals for you and will serve them with such a warmth, that it will be hard for you to leave. We were happy enough to visit them in the summer - warm, sun kissed tomatoes sweet and straight from the stems in the garden put together the perfect salad. To add to this, an eggplant was fried in no time to please our palate with juicy tenderness. Their homemade moussaka was pure delight. Last, but not least - homemade desserts, served along the hot, just brewed greek coffee is another must try. All the food,including the grilled meat, the baked cheese, and salads were delicious. This was made more memorable by the lovely and attentive ladies working there, who brought us greek halva to finish our meals, green fig jam to accompany our coffee, and even a bowl full of fresh figs to taste the difference. Definitely one of the best dining experience and one not to be missed next time we're in town!
