Some holes are next to cows so you get to take a closer look but also smell :) course was in good condition, staff was and on friday it wasn’t very busy. Good plus is the restaurant with lunch menu. Also the discounted green fee was nice. Don’t expect the highest quality but for a regular 9 or 18 round, I would come here again. On my way to Bratislava I wanted to stop and play. Skalica was already on my list of not played courses, so I booked it. Its very simple to find this place with Google maps navigation. All the facilities are close so no need for big walk. Check in were quite fast, with possibility to buy 2 different logo balls, thumb up. I was send behind group of gents which were playing quite OK but no desire to let me through so front nine was kind of long walk. On back nine they let me go through so I manage to finish fast. Course itself is nothing special, I would say a bit boring links golf. Opposite to links the fairways are wide and greens are big. Quite well maintained for the beginning of the season, but speed of the greens, was for sure not 8.5 but more like 5. What I did not like were the back 9 where they have the foot course along with regular golf, does not fit for me. The best part of the course is the 19th hole. Restaurant got 5 stars from me, otherwise I would give to course only 3 stars, so 1 more is for restaurant. Anyway thanks for hospitality. place to play golf. The course is in significantly better conditions than previous years. Front 9 fairways and greens are really to play, on a back 9 , greens are bit bumpy not really well maintained.
