Oslo, Norway Plaza

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Go through the shopping center building to get there faster. Shortcut This is a nice gathering place in Oslo. It's about 5 minutes walk from Oslo S. Usually there are like different celebrations here. I can mention Philippines Nation day, 1 Mai Norway workers union. Woman's day 9 April. Beer festivals. Different culture gatherings for new and old members of Norway. Gayparade and so on. It's big and speakers and orchestra can get quite high up Lots of bars and places to eat. Food trucks. Many different happenings throughout the year. It's kind of flee market. I love it. But not many shop available. We visited this place with my husband during the winter and there was a Christmas market on this place. So cute and full of stuff, with a bohemian feeling. Can't describe how much we both liked the Elg burger and something that reminded me of gyros. It was made with bread, chopped Elg meat, lettuce, corn and a tasty sauce. If you're a foodie and you try the local flavors, don't miss that! A sprawling place both during the day and at night. This is a great place to find bars and restaurants throughout the day. The place is very central, making it a great place to start the exploration of downtown Oslo. When I was there in Oct of 2024, the Oktoberfest tents were put up and it was hard to find the stores with the tents blocking the view but it was easy enough to walk around. It's the public square in front of the old police station, the other side is the labour party and old opera house and union buildings. The police station was the Gestapo headquarters during WW2, where prisoners were brought, interrogated, tortured and even shot at daylight. So a place for strong opinions. Beautiful town square with food trucks and stalls on the weekends! Beautiful with snow as well, less crowded during winter so you can really take inn the beautiful buildings Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
