We had a stay and the lady there was very welcoming. However, the man that also worked there did not make us feel welcome at all and was quite rude in comparison to the lady. We were also served mouldy bread with our dinner unfortunately. I would stay here again however I would bring my own food any not rely so much on the food options there as they are quite limited (only dinner option was bean soup as they had run out of lentil soup). You definitely want to book in advance otherwise you might have to book a rather expensive double bed room which on the other hand was quite comfortable in comparison to other hizhas. The food in the restaurant was and a huge plus was the possibility to pay with card which is great as you don't always have enough cash for a longer trip. What I would add in those double bed are more hangers for clothes. The shared toilets were very and had a shower integrated, but there was no lock on the door (if this is important to you, I didn't mind that at all) Lodge is very well maintained - the location beautiful! The food was excellent. Just one thing to keep in mind - dogs are not allowed. One of the best equipped huts I have visited so far in Bulgaria, the thing is it is aiming for a 'hotel' based on rooms, and prices. If I am to rate it as a hut, I would place maybe even 4 stars due to the fact they have double with bathroom inside, hot water, nice food, but prices are high, service is low, and even tea is payed. The prices and the number of and people nowadays have turned it into a some-kind-of-a hotel, and for this I would have to rate it 2 stars due to not very clean, service not at all at the level of a hotel. Thus the overall 3 stars. I liked it. This place has an astonishing view with a plethora of things that can offer. You can go there either by car, lift or by walk if you want. It's important to know that you're not allowed to take your dog inside. You can eat and into the so-called restaurant. There are no waitresses inside, so you need to take cover by yourself. Meals were well prepared. I can really emphasize the manners of the staff. I'd recommend it. Very clean, cosy (we have experience only with the old hut rooms), amazing nature, but it is more like a family hotel nowadays. In the canteen omg what's going on... It's more like a hotel with clean, comfy rooms, great hygiene, and even warm showers. Truly impressive for a stay! The best place you can stay in, wise you have a private bathroom, sheets and bed and some amazing dining options which are related with traditional dishes in Bulgaria...
