Location&environment is main forte of this place...following comments from friends and family, food is good, worth trying it (I have not eaten here since new owners took over)...visited place in midweek, which might be the reason of lower enthusiasm&agility by young staff... Was expecting more local traditional food. Service wasn't great at all. Vine choice is non-existent. Location is great. Nice hidden location but the wine is not drinkable Really innovative food, with funny names. Very good and helpful staff in great ambient. We were sitting outside old wooden house's terrace. Busy and little bit rude waiters because some private gathering happening in the restaurant. Dont like that attitude and approach 3rd and 4th visit gives me right to say that this place is getting worse. Still nice but overcrouded setting makes personell faulty. Možda smo zato očekivali više od onog što smo dobili. A očekivali smo prije svega jela zagorske kuhinje. Patku s mlincima treba rezervirati,a od autohtone zagorske kuhinje možete naručiti samo pečene štrukle. Sve ostalo na meniju identično kao u bilo kojem drugom restoranu,samo puno manja porcija,a cijena nabijena. U tjestenini s kozicama kozice možete pronaći u mikroskopskim tragovima. U mojoj porciji ,plaćenoj 17,5 EUR ih je bilo ravno dvije ,svaka veličine 1 cm. Mala zdjelica kupus salate 4,5 EUR. Deserti napucane cijene ,a ne vrijede tog novca. Na računu zaračunata boca 0,75 Jane iako ju nismo ni naručili ni dobili. Konobar bi se trebao naučiti osnovama komunikacije,a ne da na svaku primjedbu ima polubahat odgovor. Ukratko, ako želite uživati u prekrasnom okolišu dođite popiti piće na stolovima vani,a ako ste došli pojest nešto zagorsko imate puno boljih i povoljnijih restorana u blizini. Ovaj to sigurno nije. The menu / food has absolutely nothing to do with the local tradition as it had few years erlier ! Therefore we were fully disappointed with it on the first place and secondly when we were served a cold ( not even lightely warmed) bbq dish which was disasterous ! Also, anoying band was playing during the lunch time ! The menu is unoriginaly “standard” and average as it is in the “ 90 % “ of the buffets and restaurants anywhere in this part of Croatia so there’s really not any reason to visit Majsecov mlin for the food !!! Except the location itself, highly disappointed, not recommendable ! Perfect place to have a quiet, pleasant and tasty meal in a Nature. Fair prices also. Totally recommend. Pri dolasku u ovaj objekt nigdje nije naznačeno koje stolove NE POSLUŽUJU. Nakon 7 poziva konobara, sjedamo za stol koji se “posluzuje”, zatim čekamo 20 minuta da nam Bog pošalje vidljivi plašt kako bi posluga primjetila naše prisutstvo. Nakon ponovnog čekanja, konobar upozorava da ćemo hranu čekati minimalno 1h. Suma sumarum ovog “bivanja” je 1/5, traljavo i nezainteresirano.
