Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Very well kept in order. A humble and small in Croatian Zagorje where one of the most popular and beloved politicians of the 20th century was born, Josip Broz Tito. In the front you can see the famous statue made by Antun Augustinčić. Inside the you can see the antique furniture and the many presents that Tito received during his life. UNESCO Heritage site. Quaint place to visit and learned of past history of President Tito. A random find for us which turned out to be very worthwhile. As well as the that Josip Broz Tito was born in, which was fascinating in itself, the village itself is preserved showing how life was in a traditional Croatian village in the past. The contents are very well presented with multi- lingual descriptions. First time in this in-site museum. It seems to be a popular place to see as I saw many tourists in groups being guided and also locals on a Sunday afternoon. There is a very small house/office at the entrance where you buy the tickets for the museum (an old by a hill that is the meeting place that he used and has a display of ornaments and presents given to him by other high rank officials, presidents) and another ticket for the old villa where the where he lived is. This ticket is 25 kunas and the one for the museum is about 15 kunas (6.2 kunas equal 1 us dollar) Interesting place to visit. They are some locals selling souvenirs inside the villa and a bar and restaurant also The original is still in the same condition as it was. Except in one room there is an exhibition of his uniform, belongings and gifts that he received from guests who were welcomed by him in Kumrovec. A village that stopped in time at the end of 1800's. Amazing and breathtaking! Beautifull and very good care place ,perfect for visit with children, nature is wanderfull Spring Visiting this place used to bear huge importance for vast majority of citizens of SFRJ, now a deserted and sad place with every effort by the authorities in charge taken to minimize the glory and achievments of the former big leader who was born here. Nevertheless he continues to live in memories and hearts of millions. Rest in peace, comrade Tito!
