A great promenade walk, lots to see and do. Lovely parks too, too relax in. All the trappings of a vulgar English prom were there, but on this cold, bright December day, the beauty and tranquility of the pebbly shone through. Felixstowe has a proper 'British seaside vibe'. The itself is fabulously stony, not great for castle architects, but does attract some beachgoers when the weather is warm. If it is too cold, or too windy (frequently) for a swim you can always have a game of 'spot the cargo ship.' Plenty to do for a few hours, whatever the weather. This part of the is beautiful and runs along Sea Road. Many car parks and on-street parking spaces. Unfortunately, all public toilets were under refurbishment and closed!!! There were plenty of portable toilets provided as public toilets, but in hot days, it's like a sauna in them! I enjoyed walking all along the beach. There weren't many cyclists or dogs. Very peaceful crowd, all enjoying the and the surroundings. Lovely day to be had with the family. Lovely shingle beach, very long and quiet Plenty of space. Plenty of parking around paid and free spots, loads of facilities, parks, gardens which were beautiful, arcades, casino, toilets , plenty of bins and loads of food and drink options along the prom. Ice creams , coffee , fish and chips , donuts. Was very clean. A lot better then our Kent beaches, which get overrun and dirty. Nice promenade, plenty of place to sit and enjoy an ice cream or fish and chips on a Sunday. Lovely walk along with plenty of eaterys .some nice amusement arcades and modern pier.. Nice car park to watch the container ships in the docks . It is a very nice place where you can do many activities, the is very and quiet, you will be able to find many places where you can eat good and fresh food, a place to be proud of. Lovely beach, great for all the whether swimming, paddling or just playing in the sand. Fish and chips and ice cream are in plentiful supply too! Pretty gardens and an old fashioned seaside vibe. The was and well-maintained, but it was too crowded. It was hard to find a quiet spot to relax. Still, a nice place if you don’t mind the crowd. So and well looked after. Plenty to do, lots of places to eat. Long walks along the and through the park. Perfect day by the sea with family! We spent a wonderful afternoon at Felixstowe South Beach, and it turned into one of those rare days you wish you could bottle up forever. The weather couldn’t have been better — clear blue skies, a calm breeze, and the sea sparkling like it had been polished just for us. The itself is clean, with soft pebbles and plenty of space to relax. We dipped our feet in the cool water — Lulu, Aunty, and Sraboni Bhabi were having the time of their lives splashing around and taking fun photos. The sound of the waves made everything feel peaceful, while the lively seafront added just the right amount of energy. Parking was convenient, and there were lots of nearby spots to grab snacks or a coffee. The panoramic views were stunning — the perfect backdrop for pictures and those little moments you never forget. Whether you’re here for a quiet walk, some fun, or just to breathe in fresh sea air, Felixstowe South doesn’t disappoint. We’ll definitely be back! Felixstowe is a lovely spot for a relaxed day by the sea with a long sandy stretch and nice views. It’s family-friendly, but can get crowded during peak times, though it still has a cozy, welcoming vibe. 4-mile sand and shingle (definitely more shingle) were you can walk, eat different kind of food and spend money (preferably 2p coins). Free local parking close to seafront. and promenade, well kept and clean. Gardens provided a nice cool area of shade when needed. Had a beautiful day here Amazing place, best place to exercise, very and beautiful environment. Useful point for spending time with and friends.
