Duck food is available to buy in the (50p at time of writing) and there's a fully accessible circular walk, which takes approximately 20 minutes. Fishing is allowed and over the bridge, there's a great play and cafe. When my children were small, this was perfect: outdoor (and indoor) tables where the adults can nurse a hot drink, whilst the children work off some energy on the excellent activities. The serves excellent smoothies, milkshakes, hot drinks (£5.75 for a hot drink and cake, at time of writing), snacks and jacket potatoes. Oh and doggie ice cream. What else do you need? Loads of parking, nice loop with plenty for kids to do, on-site BBQ facilities are a bonus along with the coffee shop. The only problem is, the spaces do get taken quickly! But you can easily anywhere in Needham market and down. There's also a gorgeous via Alder Carr farm which leads to the lake. The does have a toilet. But due to Covid it has been shut at times. I think it is open now but you have to queue. There are dog poo bins around the lakes and benches too. I highly recommend visiting not only the but needham town too. Good accessibility pathways around the and toilet facilities.
