The food is very good I would recommend this chipper 100% and the staff are very friendly and a very clean chipper Traditional fish and chip shop even if the cook is not a traditional type of fish and chip cook. Garlic bread is most definitely the nicest I've had in a very long time Very sorry to say it was terrible, I got chips and plain sausages. The chips were so greasy and the smell wasn't great either off them and the sausages, I've never tasted ones worse then this. They were disgusting, they crumbled apart and were nearly like a powder is the only way to describe the texture. I'd highly recommend getting a different supply of these as there was near zero pork meat in them. It pains me to say , I've had great food from here ,and marks food was actually amazing from here but order I got well it was terrible,chips cold and fatty! Ordered a family box of chicken which is 6 pieces but only got 4 they did offer to send two more but I declined as chicken was so dry it was dry and dehydrated like cardboard so much so you couldn't swallow it . I've been a fan for years but sadly I will never waste money on it again. There was no offer of a refund!! Not good business at all, place looking tired and dirty too Fish & Chips are 10/10 Staff are good craic and very nice to deal with, couldn’t fault the place at all Could taste fish off the chips and they were extremely greasy. Can't go wrong with the Taco Mince Fries. Good quality minced beef and sauce. I ordered a large portion for €7.50. The only criticism would be that it is slightly undersized for the price, especially on the amount of fries given. Considering the level of quality this is still better than any apaaacheee out there and I would gladly go again to try some of their other offerings. We ordered two“fresh cod” and chips. That was the first mistake…… The “fresh fish” was over cooked and the batter was hard and quite disgusting with foreign black remnants from the fryer. YUCK 🤮 Chips had a strange taste which was very unpleasant. The tub of ketchup was so low budget it should be banned. This has to be the worst chipper in Wexford I do not write reviews normally but AVOID AVOID AVOID!!
