Great food, one of the nicest chicken burgers I've ever had. Very nice I thoroughly enjoyed this charming cafe/restaurant. The staff are incredibly friendly, adding to the cozy atmosphere of the place. The portion sizes are perfect, and every bite of food was delicious. The deserts are absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend lunch here and look forward to returning soon. Waited ages for someone to take our order, and then waited ages for anyone to come back after we had finished our sandwiches. Ended up flagging a server down for a look at a dessert menu, and then ended up waiting another 15 minutes for them to come back. We just ended up forgetting about the desserts as we were fed up being passed by continually, left disappointed. Some very friendly workers there yes, but some inexplicably 'absent' ones too. We have been here a number of times for breakfast, lunch and Sunday dinner and we couldn't fault anything. The food is amazing, full of flavour and decent portions. The staff are friendly and efficient, we are never waiting long for our food. Because of this I took my daughter for afternoon tea while she was home from Vancouver and we were not disappointed. It was outstanding!! I have a food allergy and had mentioned this while booking and it was no problem at all. Every bit of the afternoon tea from the welcome when we arrived to allowing us to enjoy our chat and delicious food in a relaxed way was fantastic. The price was also very reasonable. A huge thank you to the staff. Highly recommend! And we'll be back many times Wildflower Cafe is located in a very pleasant and relaxing place. The service was nice and fast. There were many interesting dishes to choose from, including desserts. I had fish and chips. The portion was really big, the fish was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend a visit with a walk in the gardens.
