The winds generally appear to be blown from the North and the East, so this cove is full secluded from the elements, resulting in a dead still, crystal clear and scorching little retreat. The waters are so clear and then it suddenly goes deep blue into the depths. I did not personally walk much more than 2km as I had a long day of exploring Sweden ahead, but that still led to walking through wetlands, climbing over rocks, trekking through the forest and having a small dabble in the lake to experience the crisp water. A local kindly recommended this place to me and if you follow the road you will find an area for 8 or so cars and it is definitely worth the visit, if just for a quick adventure or to find an absolute gem! Really nice hike along the shore of Vattern lake. Takes about 1,5 hour when you enjoy the views and pick few blueberries around the track. Very nice place. Highly recommended.
