We enjoyed a tasty lunch of burger and sirloin steak that came with a generous side serving of crispy potato wedges. The restaurant was large and well ventilated. Staff was cheerful and helpful. Afterwards, we visited the store downstairs, finding a large assortment of pressed fruit juices, cordials and locally produced food and sundries. Bit of an 80s vibe. Food lacks finesse, but as a roadside diner it works perfectly well. Plenty of space and friendly staff. Don’t forget to “exit through the gift shop” for some delicacies, such as artisan chili sauces, licorice and the obvious soft drinks. Has a rather poor selection of coffee and cookies but I've heard that the food is good. The look of the restaurang was a huge disappointment. I was expecting it to reflect history of the place but instead is was like in a gas station restaurant. Personnel was nice, food (soup and sandwich) average. Not an experience to go to but a place to get your stomach full when on a road. We used this resturant to cater food for our wedding and the service was great. Well priced and hogh quality with a good personal service. Good buffé but doesn't include drinks (except water).
