A booking conflict occured (we booked via a hotel reservation website), so we accepted to be accommodated in the nearby villa that belongs to the property. The place is not fit for hotel being rather a self-catering rental so the experience turned out to be so-so (heating problems, no TV, overall empty and inhospitable). Nice location, beautiful view, fantastic cuisine. We were at the restaurant. Nice place, excellent location near the river. Food and service not bad, but could be improved. A fabulous view of the river, a great choice of food and really friendly service including good advice about the food. There's an English menu too. The food we had was some of the best we've had in over the last 2 weeks in Bulgaria and very good value, at less than £15 for a 2 course meal with drinks for 2 people. Brilliant!
