This quaint, authentic, Bulgarian cuisine restaurant is right off of the international E79 highway and offers tasty food, cold drinks and clean restrooms. Please keep in mind that all adjectives are in comparison to other local places (Bulgarian restaurants) and may not be relevant to USA standards ;) We had the Buffalo sausage with French fries with feta, beans, meatballs with fries, soups and village salad. It was fresh and delicious. I would recommend to any person who travels Bulgaria and wants to experience authentic cuisine. This place is a must for us when traveling west to the west side of Bulgaria. Great grilled meat, a lots of different types. You should try our the traditional bean dish as well. Highly recommend! Probably the most overrated busy eating place in Bulgaria. Nothing makes sense in here. This is not a proper restaurant as there is no waiter taking the orders. You're lining up next to the BBQ, which smells nice, but then you take this smell in your car and back home. There are only servers who transport your orders to the table after paying, which has to be a feature. The prices in this eating place are severely inflated. I am talking 2x-3x to what a normal price in a normal REAL restaurant would be. And for that, you're getting bad food. What did we have: 2x Meatballs - the minced meat was low quality, mixed with joints pieces. 2x Beans - this is a typical Bulgarian dish that simply cannot be cooked the way they do it - using curry! and pieces of garlic gloves. Very bad. Add to it that's it's served in boiling temperatures, so you need to wait a very long time before being able to try it properly. 1x Smoked pork neck (200 g) - that was the only decent thing we had and it wasn't overpriced as much as the rest 1x piece of bread - it was old bread that just wasn't good. Overall we paid about 45 BGN, which is absolutely outrageous for the little food we had. The toilets are in the style of a gas station, with only one sink to wash your hands. Inadequate. Was able to get a large table for 10 adults but I believed it could serve up to 14 pax. Food was delicious!! They have their own farm. Everything is beyond fresh and super tasty.
